Path to Membership: How to Join EdCo
Becoming a member of the Education Collaborative of Western New York (EdCo) is a straightforward process designed to ensure shared alignment with our mission, values, and community of practice. Membership is open to any accredited, private, charter or public school/ institution located within the Western New York Region.
Step 1: Explore Alignment
- Review EdCo’s Mission, Guiding Principles, and Values to ensure shared commitment to collaboration, innovation, and equity in education.
- Connect with EdCo’s Executive Director to discuss how membership can support your school’s goals and priorities.
Step 2: Submit a Membership Interest Form
- Complete the EdCo Membership Interest Form.
- Provide key details such as school name, enrollment, leadership contacts, and focus areas for collaboration (e.g., professional learning, student leadership, shared services).
Step 3: Formalize Membership
- Upon acceptance, schools sign the EdCo Membership Agreement confirming their annual participation and shared commitment to EdCo’s mission, guiding principles and values.
- Membership fees are invoiced annually and due by July 31st. Fees can be prorated based on when a school joins the consortium.
