Position Summary: The Annual Fund & Alumni Engagement Coordinator is a key member of the development team, reporting to the Director of Development, and is responsible for the overall coordination and administration of Park's annual fundraising campaign, The Annual Fund, as well as creating and carrying out alumni relations efforts. This position is responsible for developing data-driven, donor-centric renewal, reactivation, and acquisition strategies to reach the Annual Fund goal each year, along with strategies to steward donors and engage alumni. Essential Responsibilities:  Annual Fund: Coordinate all aspects of the Annual Fund campaign based on a thorough, thoughtful plan created in collaboration with the Director of Development. Implement all plans and mailings, assign/carry out personal appeals, track donations and statistics, and have complete ownership of the gift/pledge acknowledgement process. Stewardship: Working with the Director, implement a stewardship plan for each Leadership Donor and Leadership Prospect to be carried out throughout the year. Assign, carry out, and track activities. Be proactive and responsive to donors and prospects, crafting and managing communications, responding to inquiries, and tracking all communications in Raiser's Edge. Manage Raiser's Edge database for the Development Office including gift/pledge entry, data updates, queries, lists, reports, and system updates. Gift/Pledge Acknowledgement Process: Ensure donors are thanked for their contributions (monetary, volunteer, and in-kind) in a timely manner with a personalized, gift-appropriate letter. Manage the filing system of all letters and correspondence. Giving Day: Plan and carry out Park's annual Giving Day and all associated follow-up. Manage and organize all office files pertaining to donors, giving, and related communication. Alumni Engagement: Plan and execute meaningful communication to and engagement with Park's alumni base through events, publications, email blasts, and personal outreach in order to increase graduates' connection to the school. Full ownership of Alumni events including but not limited to: Holiday Party (December), Alumni Basketball Game (December), and regional events (TBD). Work collaboratively with the Advancement Events Coordinator to plan and execute a successful Reunion Weekend in June. In support of a fast-paced Development Department, provide administrative assistance through through ownership of the following tasks: Condolence letters (as-needed) Alumni birthday cards (monthly) Office organization/filing (daily) Writing articles for the Pioneer magazine and other publications Raiser's Edge database updates (as they come in) Requirements:  Bachelor's Degree  Minimum 2-3 years of experience at a non-profit organization.  Direct fundraising experience, including planning a campaign and carrying out appeals.  Experience utilizing Raiser's Edge, or another similar CRM database. Desired Skills and Traits:  Exceptional communications skills.  Goal oriented and outcome driven.  Donor-focused mentality: responsive to inquiries and proactive in meeting donors' requests.  Self-starter, ability to work independently.  Familiarity with online giving tactics and trends.  Excellent organization and time-management skills.  Experience with data analytics and database segmentation.  Direct mail knowledge including printing methods, data processing, personalization, and mail shop operations.  Strong attention to detail and organization.  Positive attitude and a sense of humor. Other Information:  This role does not currently manage employees, but does oversee projects that use both volunteers and board members.  This position is full-time and year round. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm.  This position does not offer any remote work opportunities.  Must have ability to work occasional nights and weekends for events.  All employees at Park must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
