Compensation

Ten month faculty positions receive compensation based on a step salary scale where educational degree and professional teaching experience are the essential metrics. The salary range for the faculty position is $30,000 to $60,000. This salary range is made in good faith and believed to be true at the time of posting.

Mount Saint Mary Academy, an all-girls Catholic high school in Buffalo, NY, serving grades 9-12 is seeking a full-time high school teacher for their signature Academy Scholars program (entrepreneurship) for the 2024-2025 academic year. A Bachelor's degree is required with a focus in the humanities and/or business. A master's degree in education with content in any of these fields is preferable. Some teaching experience is required. This teacher accompanies students as they develop their own businesses. Basic finance and accounting, marketing, presentation skills and business development are key areas of instruction. Creativity and flexibility are essential characteristics of the successful candidate. Guiding hands-on experiences are inherent to this unique role at the Academy.
