Buffalo Museum of Science

The Education Collaborative of WNY, The WNY STEM Hub and the Buffalo Museum of Science will be hosting the second Western New York High School Maker Faire.

Maker Faire events celebrate creativity, invention, and the do it yourself (DIY) spirit. In the most general terms a maker is "a person that makes or produces something." The WNY High School Maker Faire will showcase a diverse mix of high school age makers who build and design "cool stuff."

Makers MUST be enrolled in a Western New York High School to participate and have a teacher sponsor.

Makers may include, but are not limited to:

  • Hobby Clubs - RC/Robot/Lego/Drones
  • 3D Printing, CNC/Routers, Laser engraving
  • Woodworkers, Weavers, Textiles
  • Knitters, Crocheters, yarn bombers
